Here, the kitchen is open to everyone. Scents come out of the saucepans, the meat roasts in the chimney, commis bustle about and the chef takes great pleasure in presenting the menu of the day.


A CHEF FROM THE SOUTH

Originally from South-West, Alain Souliac has worked and learned with the greatest chefs of the region before joining Alain Ducasse in 2002. After 8 years in the Pays Basque and Paris he joined our team to find with happiness the hostel kitchen at La Bastide de Moustiers. It is a cuisine “de terroir”, a cuisine of family, simple and good, whose menu will change daily.

Two menus are proposed for lunch and for dinner. Bouillon glacé de cosses de petits pois et févettes ; agneau des Pré-alpes à la cheminée, légumes en beaux morceaux ; pigeonneau de Racan grillé aux ceps de vigne ; cocotte de légumes printaniers cuisinés ensemble à l’huile d’olive de la Bastide.
